About Elysium Vineyards

It has been a long time coming and I think we are ready to talk in more detail about our project. For the last several years we have been building a winery/resort in East Texas. We will be planting grapes and doing a very limited (initially) production of our favorite types of wines. This has been something that we have wanted to do for quite some time, but now we feel we have the ability, and hopefully sufficient time, to do this the way we have dreamed. About the WineMaker:

I wont pretend that making wine was in my blood from an early age or my family grew up farming. My love for wine came from trips to Napa and the community of people in the wine making business. There have been many people we have crossed paths with over the years and the joy of sharing a bottle of wine, well, there is just nothing else like it. I spent most of my life as an engineer with a very high attention to detail and quest for understanding the “science” of most things. That has allowed me to place that discipline into wine making and creating something truly unique for East Texas. I hope you enjoy my wines and the love I have given them.
